BELIZE POLICE YOUTH CADET CORP UNIFORM

Part of the excitement of being a Corp Member is your uniform. Whenever you put on your uniform you feel ready for parade, hiking, camping, and other active Corp events.

A Uniform Policy for the Belize Police Youth Cadet Corp has been established to provide an atmosphere that enhances learning, teaches hygiene and instills discipline.

The khaki and navy blue uniform with green and yellow stripes shows that you belong to the Belize Police Youth Cadet Corp. It stands for the spirit of true democracy. It puts all cadets on an equal basis in the spirit of brotherhood. It builds team spirit in your formation.

The uniform is a steady reminder to you and to others that here is a youth that is honest, caring, and steadfast, possesses leadership skills, trustworthy, loyal, and helpful. Dressed as a Cadet, you want to act as a Cadet.

Class A Uniform

The headdress assigned to the Belize Police Youth Cadet Corp is a navy blue or black barrette with the BPYCC insignia on it. When worn, the insignia lies over the left eye, and the barrette is leaned (flapped) to the right side of the head.

Wearing the Corp Uniform

Wear your uniform proudly. Wear the complete uniform correctly at all BPYCC events:

• Wear it when you take part in any Corp service project.

• Wear it during Police Week.

Care of the Uniform

As a Corp Member, you are careful of your clothes at all times, your uniform and your regular clothes. Fold your uniform carefully after use or hang it on hangers.
