Instructors
SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
Senior Instructor is the highest rank a cadet can achieve. They must have the age of 17 years to 18 years and must portray high level of discipline, able to make decisions, and cable of supervising the other NCOs.
The Senior Instructor may also be an Adult Leader who speaks honestly, listens intently, has a good sense of humor, and understands the place of outdoor programs in the Cadet Corp and the part he/she has to play in it. He/She likes to work with Youth and believes that he/she should never do anything for a cadet that the cadet can do for himself/herself. The role of the Adult Leader is:-
1. to observe and talk to the members
2. make sure the planned events happen and that they are purposeful
3. coach and train the NCOs in the teaching of Citizenship, Physical Fitness, Hiking, Safe Fire Building, Nature/Conservation, Woodcraft Skills, Outdoor Cooking, Camping, and Parade Drills
4. make sure that things are being done safely
The Cadet Senior Instructor will wear a yellow and green epaulette with a white diamond on top, on each shoulder of the shirt or blouse.
JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR
Junior Instructor/Acting is the second highest rank a cadet can achieve. He/She must have the age of 16 years and must portray high level of discipline, able to make decisions, cable of supervising the other NCOs, and pass on instructions from the Senior Instructors to the other NCOs. He/She must give a feedback to the Senior Instructor concerning what was carried out or what problem they had in carrying out such command. The Cadet Junior Instructor will wear a yellow and green epaulette on each shoulder of the shirt or blouse.
He/she will assist in coaching and training the NCOs in the teaching of Citizenship, Physical Fitness, Hiking, Safe Fire Building, Nature/Conservation, Woodcraft Skills, Outdoor Cooking, Camping, and Parade Drills.
