ADVANCEMENT

Advancement (Promotion) is another type of award a cadet can receive during the summer camp. It is also a means by which to motivate the cadet to reach for excellence.

An odd mix of military and police ranks are used: Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant, etc.

Requirements

1.  To advance a member must pass various tests of skill and knowledge.

2.  To be promoted a cadet needs to pass the written or oral test as well as the practical test.

3.  The cadet must have good attendance and behavior records.

4.  The cadet must show leadership skills, have expected level of discipline, hardworking, honest, caring, high self- esteem and willing to assist his/her colleague when the need arises.
