The information and procedures contained in this web page are based upon the field experiences and research by the author. They are intended as a guide for the Belize Police Youth Cadet Corp members.

My gratitude goes to Sergeant Gilbert Pitts, who spurred the idea based on the first handbook which was written by Mr. Glen Reneau in the form of ‘Belize Youth Cadet Corp Handbook, First Edition, June 15, 2000’. Thanks to the Community Policing Commander, Sr. Supt. Yolanda Murray, Deputy Commissioner Crispin Jeffries, and Supt. David Henderson who gave me encouragement to undertake this task.
